Dr. Ali Sanz received a double B.S. degree from the University of Maryland in Environmental Science and Animal Science, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania.
She is originally from Boston, MA, and is happy to come back to DC after falling in love with the area during undergraduate years. After graduation, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Sanz’s special interests include internal medicine, clinical pathology, and dermatology. Her favorite part about being a veterinarian is establishing a relationship with her patients and their owners. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants around the city, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She lives with her adorable British Shorthair Cat, Abu.
