Dr. Abby Ramlagan - Veterinarian

Dr. Abby’s passion for veterinary medicine began at 18 years old when she started working as a veterinary technician.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Agriculture from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore while continuing to work part time as a technician to gain more hands-on experience in the profession. After graduation, she joined Atlas Vet as a tech, where she continued pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. She later earned her veterinary degree from St. George’s University and was thrilled to return to the Atlas Vet team as a doctor.

Dr. Abby greatly values the human-animal bond, its positive effect on mental health, and having the privilege of caring for pets and the people who love them. At home, she has two large breed dogs of her own, named Otis and Eddy and outside of work, she enjoys reading, yoga, movies, and spending time with family
